Democratic Socialist candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who's running for congress in the Bronx and Brooklyn, seems to think that money grows on trees and people can "just pay for it!" Basically, we all need to suck it up, fork over our money and let people like her decide how it should be spent. Because...you know, we're too dumb and stupid to figure out where our hard-earned money should be spent.
She wants Medicare-For-All. Just pay for it, America.
She wants "free" college for all. Just pay for it, America.
She wants a $15 minimum wage for all. Just pay for it, America.
But here's the thing. Where the hell does this money come from? It has to come from somewhere, otherwise the dollar has absolutely no value.

Ocasio-Cortez seems to think that the question is silly. Why else would she laugh and give the dumbest answer possible? Because she wants the average American to believe that we need to continually level the playing field. Apparently it's a no-brainer: Americans need to work their butts off to take care of their neighbors.
The scariest part is people like Ocasio-Cortez are gaining traction amongst Millennials and even Generation Z. Sadly, we're more likely to see this in the future. This is the same thought process younger Americans are having. They're not doing this for the "greater good" of society. They're pushing this kind of agenda to benefit themselves. They want to receive handouts and not work for what they have. Some of us call that being lazy.
