Suspicious Package to Biden Intercepted at Post Office

A suspicious package has been found addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden, according to multiple reports.

The package, which is similar to those sent to multiple Democratic politicians, CNN, and Robert De Niro, was found in New Castle, Delaware, CBS reports.

The package was intercepted at a Delaware postal facility.

Delaware State Police confirmed that they responded to the Quigley Boulevard Post office at about 5:51 a.m. with FBI special agents, USPS Inspection Service and New Castle County Police. They did not release more details.

Wilmington Police said they were investigating a suspicious package at the post office at 1500 Lancaster Avenue. (Delaware News Journal)

It has since been removed.

The package's discovery comes the same day as a similar package was found in Lower Manhattan addressed to Robert De Niro. Multiple Democratic politicians and CNN offices have also received suspicious packages containing “potentially destructive devices," according to the FBI.
