BREAKING: CNN New York Office Evacuated Due To Suspicious Package

Suspicious packages have been addressed to the homes of George Soros, the Clintons, and the former residence of former President Barack Obama. Now, CNN’s New York office has been evacuated due to a suspicious device. Hosts Poppy Harlow and Jim Sciutto were interrupted during their broadcast. Wolf Blitzer has taken over reporting from the network's D.C. offices. No injuries have been reported. Sciutto told Blitzer that the NYPD reportedly said that the package made it inside the building (via Pix 11):

The NYPD confirms it has responded to 10 Columbus Circle. People are asked to avoid the area.

A suspicious device was discovered in the Time Warner Center, where CNN is based, a law enforcement source told the TV station.

CNN news writer Eric Levenson reports the CNN newsroom was evacuated.

Multiple people have also tweeted that the nearby Whole Foods market has been evacuated.

The situation unfolded as authorities confirmed they intercepted a device intended for the White House.

Poppy and Sciutto reported from the street. Blizter just said that the device was indeed discovered in the building's mail room.

UPDATE: There's now a suspicious package being reported outside of the offices of the San Diego Tribune

Downtown San Diego street was cordoned off Wednesday morning after a stack of suspicious looking packages were spotted in front of the building that houses the San Diego Union-Tribune, police said.

A police lieutenant reported the boxes, which were situated on top of a trash can, about 8:15 a.m., San Diego police Officer Billy Hernandez said.

UPDATE: White Powder?

The NYPD held a press conference on the string of suspicious packages sent to Bill and Hillary Clinton, former President Obama and the Time Warner Center.

The NYPD said "some sort of white powder" was found in the package sent to the Time Warner Center, the location of CNN's New York City headquarters.
