TRIGGERED Podcast: Uh, We Just Let The New Mexico Terrorists Go…Is That What Happened?

So, the five New Mexico terror suspects have been released, all charges have been dismissed due to the prosecution missing the 10-day deadline to put forward evidence for a preliminary hearing, though the DA’s office said they will be refilling charges. The question is what the hell is going on within that office, something the judge who dismissed the charges alluded to yesterday.

CNN, which is rapidly becoming a favorite punching bag for the Right, even more so than Hillary Clinton, had host Don Lemon defend Antifa, saying “no organization is perfect.” By the way, the FBI and DHS have classified Antifa’s antics as acts of domestic terrorism. Jeffrey Toobin, CNN's chief legal analyst, also said that criticism of the group by President Trump is racist because the group is perceived as a black organization. What the hell are you talking about? It’s made up of a bunch of lefty, white lunatics. The network is still getting kicked in the teeth for their total trash story about Trump knowing about the Tower meeting between his son and some Russians that really amounted to nothing. The July story featured an anonymous source, which was exposed as Lanny Davis, a longtime Clinton ally, and Michael Cohen’s attorney. The kicker is that CNN reached out to their anonymous source—Davis—for comment under the veneer that he wasn’t an integral part of the piece. It was immensely dishonest, but CNN is standing by their shoddy story.

Professional football is not back until next week, but college is back this Saturday. Notre Dame and Michigan will be playing each other for the first time since 2014 at 7:30 P.M. EST, with Alabama and Louisville kicking off a half hour later. The last time Notre Dame faced their old-time rivals they beat them 37-0. While Notre Dame and Michigan are some of the most elite football programs in the country with long legacies, Alabama is set to dominate the landscape again. They’ll probably be in the national championship again, as head coach Nick Saban continues to show his recruiting prowess not just with players, but also coaching staff. Alabama will remain a contender and football powerhouse for the remainder of Saban’s contract with the school, which ends in 2025.

In Florida, Rep. Ron DeSantis may have cruised to victory with Trump’s endorsement in the GOP gubernatorial primary, but immediately stepped into hot water for saying this about his Democratic opponent Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum, who is black:

“The last thing we need to do is to monkey this up by trying to embrace a socialist agenda with huge tax increases and bankrupting the state. That is not going to work. That's not going to be good for Florida.”

San Francisco is officially the poop capital of America. Police are now stepping up patrols at LAX because cab drivers are just crapping all over the roads there. On top of this, we have the air conditioning is sexist nonsense emanating out of New York, where the Democratic gubernatorial election held its first debate. Challenger Cynthia Nixon wanted the temperature set at 76 degrees. Are you nuts?! Everyone needs to toughen the hell up. Period. There is no debate. Air conditioning is great, those who disagree are wrong.  Period.
