Sarah Palin said she was duped by comedian Sacha Baron Cohen into doing what she was led to believe would be a legitimate interview with a disabled veteran.
“Yup - we were duped…Ya’ got me, Sacha. Feel better now?,” Palin wrote in a lengthy post on her Facebook page.
Cohen is set to appear in a seven-part satirical show called “Who is America?,” set to air on Showtime.
“Cohen, CBS and Showtime drew the ire of the former Alaska governor a day after Showtime issued a press release announcing the "Borat" actor’s new satirical series titled, “Who is America?,’” reports Fox News. Palin claims she was led to believe that she would be doing a legitimate interview with a “disabled veteran” who in reality was Cohen in disguise.
“For my interview, my daughter and I were asked to travel across the country where Cohen (I presume) had heavily disguised himself as a disabled US Veteran, fake wheelchair and all,” Palin wrote on Facebook.

According to Showtime, the show will “Explore the diverse individuals…across the political and cultural spectrum, who populate our unique nation.”
She said she stayed for the interview “out of respect for what I was led to believe would be a thoughtful discussion with someone who had served in uniform.” But she left after claiming to have experienced “a long ‘interview’ full of Hollywoodism’s disrespect and sarcasm,” reported Fox.
“Mock politicians and innocent public personalities all you want, if that lets you sleep at night, but HOW DARE YOU mock those who have fought and served our country said. Truly sick,” said Palin.
Palin also said that her daughter thinks Cohen is a piece of sh*t. “Every honorable American should feel the same,” said Palin.
Even Matt Drudge weighed in on Twitter.
Sacha Baron Cohen at it again! This time for CBS/SHOWTIME. Lots of tricks played. Both Republicans and Democrats are getting caught up in the madness. Sacha has finked Cheney, Palin, Howard Dean, Alberto Gonzales, Bernie, Trent Lott, Patraeus, Ted Koppel, and more… BEWARE!

Palin dared Cohen to air the footage and issued a challenge for him and the network to donate the series earnings to a veteran’s charity.
