Andrew Stein, a former New York City Council president, is wondering why his fellow Democrats are telling everyone that President Trump is a "racist," while failing to condemn Louis Farrakhan. The anti-Semitic Nation of Islam leader has associated himself with several liberal lawmakers, yet they won't properly distance themselves from him and his inflammatory rhetoric.

"The real racist is Farrakhan," Stein said. "But they don't have the stomach to denounce the man."
A couple weeks ago, Farrakhan reminded us just how anti-Semitic he is by denouncing Jews and calling them his "enemy."
Stein is "formally" asking the Democratic National Committee to put out a statement and "denounce everything" Farrakhan stands for.
Seven Congressional Black Caucus members have been associated with Farrakhan, including Reps. Keith Ellison (D-MN), Maxine Waters (D-CA), Danny Davis (D-IL), Al Green (D-TX), Barbara Lee (D-CA), Andre Carson (D-IN) and Gregory Meeks (D-NY). Meeks and Davis have condemned Farrakhan's language, yet as late as February Davis praised the Nation of Islam leader as an "outstanding human being."
DNC Keith Ellison, who , has insisted that he has had no contact with Farrakhan since entering Congress. The Washington Post quickly squashed that claim, noting at least three instances in which the two men were in close proximity.
The Women's March has also been instructed to cut ties with Farrakhan. CNN's Jake Tapper has repeatedly asked co-chair Tamika Mallory why she attended that controversial Farrakhan speech last month and worse yet, why she is still defending it.
