MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski ended up cutting off ‘Fire and Fury’ author Michael Wolff after a heated exchange about his implications that UN Ambassador Nikki Haley had an affair with President Trump.
Wolff repeatedly denied accusing Haley of anything when he said last month on HBO’s 'Real Time With Bill Maher' that he was “absolutely sure” Trump was having an affair and pointed readers to his book to guess who it was. He said readers would know when they read the paragraph and this led readers to believe it was Haley.
Brzezinski asked Wolff if he regrets “inferring anything” about Haley.
“What I inferred is that ... many of the people around the president believe he is still involved with various women,” Wolff said.
“Michael you said she has embraced it," Brzezinski told Wolff. "I’m going to go as far as to say that you might be having a fun time playing a little game dancing around this, but you’re slurring a woman, it’s disgraceful.”

She was referring to a Wednesday interview in which Wolff said that Haley “seems to have embraced it,” in reference to the rumors.
“She has been accused of nothing,” Wolff insisted in reply to Brzezinski. “She has decided to deny what she has not been accused of. Certainly, I didn’t accuse her of this.”
"Come on,” Brzezinski replied, "Are you kidding? You’re on the set of ‘Morning Joe,’ we don’t B.S. here…if you don’t get it, and you don’t get what we’re talking about, I’m sorry, this is awkward, you’re here on the set with us, but you’re done.”
Wolff lashed out on Twitter following the on-air spat and slammed the hosts of 'Morning Joe'. He even found an area of agreement with President Trump.
My bad, the President is right about Mika.
