President Trump is hosting a major meeting at the White House Tuesday morning with lawmakers from both sides of the political aisle. The goal: to tackle the issue of illegal immigration.
The meeting comes just days ahead of a potential government shut down, with DACA at the center of negotiations.
Here is the list of attendees, provided by the White House.
Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, White House Chief of Staff General John Kelly, Senior Advisor Stephen Miller and Assistant the President Marc Short will also be in attendance.
Back on Capitol Hill, tensions are running high as Democrats continue to demand DACA in return for nothing.

Grassley: Why do my colleagues in Democratic leadership refuse to even consider measures that would beef up border security and interior enforcement? Do they want people to continue to immigrate to this country illegally?

Grassley on border security: Why won’t Democratic ldrshp negotiate with us? Because we refuse to simply pass the Dream Act, as is, with no proportional border security and interior enforcement measures. As the Dems see it, it’s take it or leave it, their way or the highway

The White House and Republicans have repeatedly laid out the terms for an agreement: DACA in return for an end to chain migration, the Diversity Visa Lottery Program and a border wall. Keep in mind a number of Democrats voted for the Secure Fence Act in 2006.
