President Trump’s approval rating is on the rise, according to Rasmussen Reports’ daily presidential tracking poll.
As of Monday, the commander in chief has a 46 percent approval rating among likely U.S. voters—a number Trump was keen to share with his followers.

The same poll of 1,500 likely voters found 53 percent disapprove of the job President Trump is doing. The survey has a margin of error of 2.5 percentage points.
According to Real Clear Politics, Trump has an average approval rating of 38 percent.
In separate surveys released Monday, Rasmussen Reports also asked voters about which direction they believe the U.S. was heading and how confident they are in the job market.
Thirty-three percent of likely U.S. voters said the country is heading in the right direction, while confidence in the jobs market reached a new high.
As Rasmussen explains, "39% of American Adults now believe the job market is better than it was a year ago. That’s up from 35% in May and the highest level of confidence in regular surveying since early 2010."
