Dr. David Dao, the man who was seriously injured as he was dragged off of an overbooked United Airlines flight earlier this month, has settled with the airline out of court. The amount was not disclosed.

Since a video of Dao being removed from the plane went viral, United has implemented several new policies concerning overbooking, crew travel, and compensation for bumping passengers off of flights. Other airlines have followed suit as well.
