President Donald Trump held a meeting with Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg of NATO on Wednesday afternoon at the White House.
Following the meeting, the pair held a press conference where President Trump praised the past accomplishments of the alliance, citing the liberation of captive nations during the Cold War.

However, President Trump did remind member countries that they must meet their financial obligations to the alliance.
"We must also ensure that NATO members meet their financial obligations and pay what they owe," he said.

President Trump also reiterated what Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said earlier in the day during a meeting in Moscow - that relations with Russia were at an all-time low.
