The Women's March is none too pleased that President Donald Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court, Neil Gorsuch, was confirmed on Friday morning in a (slightly) bipartisan vote of 54-45. They've decided that they'll be "coming for" Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV), Joe Donnelly (D-IN), and Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) because they voted for Gorsuch.

Considering that Indiana, North Dakota, and West Virginia all voted for Donald Trump by over 20-point margins, it seems rather silly to "go after" the seats of three elected officials in the primary process when in all likelihood a more liberal candidate would be demolished in the general by a Republican. It's as if they've never heard the saying "don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good."
But, clearly, bipartisanship is dead in the eyes of the extreme left. An elected official is in office to represent his or her constituents, not to carry out the goals of a party. This kind of ideological-purity-or-bust rhetoric will do nothing to help bridge the divide currently in Congress, and it's only going to result in further division and further gridlock. This doesn't help anyone.
