Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) announced on Wednesday that they will not be supporting Betsy DeVos, President Donald Trump's nominee for the Department of Education.
Collins announced first, speaking on the Senate floor.

Murkowski chimed in with her opposition shortly after.

With Collins and Murkowski out, it is increasingly unlikely that DeVos will be confirmed by the Senate if Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions is confirmed as Attorney General. DeVos has perhaps been the most divisive of all of Trump's cabinet nominees.
UPDATE: Press Sec. Sean Spicer says that he's "100 percent confident" that DeVos will be the next Secretary of Education.
