Where Was the Outcry from Iranians When Their Islamic Government Detained 10 US Sailors?

In January of 2016, the Islamic Republic of Iran commandeered a U.S. Navy gunboat and took the 10 sailors on board captive, at gunpoint, for over 12 hours.

There were neither protests in airports nor outcries in the mainstream media.

In fact, the Iranian people celebrated instead.  They mocked the United States with a video showing American sailors crying and even held a public celebration.  The reenactment took place on a parade float, using Iranians to act out both captive and armed captors roles.

Over the weekend, thousands of protestors took to the streets to show their displeasure with President Donald Trump's recent decision to shut down immigration form countries like Iran.

One could argue that support for immigrants from a country that has vowed to destroy non-believers, like the Jewish state of Israel, is stronger than that of our military men and women who were captured by the same government.
