President Donald Trump and the president of Mexico spent at least one hour talking on the phone Friday, discussing issues surrounding the border wall.
Two administration officials confirmed Friday's call.
Things heated up on Thursday when the Mexican leader canceled a meeting with Trump scheduled for next week.
Trump then threatened a 20 percent tax on imports from Mexico to pay for the border wall.
