As allegations of Russian hacking to influence the 2016 presidential election are ongoing, the CIA remains at odds with the FBI and DNI over a lack of evidence for the claims. Regardless, Democrats are jumping at the opportunity to use the situation as a way to discredit the legitimacy of Donald Trump's presidency, prompting the President-elect to question why the Obama administration only became concerned about Russian hacking after President Obama's preferred candidate lost in November.

Yesterday White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest accused Trump of calling for the hacking, an assertion senior advisor Kellyanne Conway is strongly refuting.
“That is disappointing to hear from the podium of the White House press secretary. Because he essentially stated that the president-elect had knowledge of this, maybe even fanned the flames," Conway said Thursday morning on Fox and Friends. “It’s incredibly irresponsible and I wonder if his boss, President Obama agrees.”
Christine Pelosi, daughter of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, is demanding electors be given an intelligence briefing on the situation before casting votes in the Electoral College on Monday. Considering Congress requested a briefing and was denied, the chances of the electors getting one are slim.
