Trump Campaign's Virginia Chair Fired After Calling RNC 'Pukes' And Accusing Them of Diverting Funds

The Trump campaign is punishing a Virginia state chairman for his participating in a protest in front of the Republican National Committee headquarters on Monday. In his heated remarks, Corey Stewart called the RNC "establishment pukes" and accused them of diverting funds the GOP nominee had raised.

The Trump campaign did not sanction Stewart's tirade and acted swiftly in their rebuke.

State chair Corey Stewart is "being replaced, effective immediately," said Trump deputy campaign manager David Bossie in a written statement. "Corey made this decision when he staged a stunt in front of the RNC without the knowledge or the approval of the Trump campaign."

The RNC is holding a call with members regarding the funding for the Trump campaign on Monday night.
