Update: Susteren posted the following message on her Facebook page explaining her departure, noting, in part, that she hadn't felt at "home" at Fox for the past few years.

Greta Van Susteren, the host of Fox News' "On the Record," will be leaving the network, effective today, according to CNN's Brian Stelter. She will be replaced by fellow anchor Brit Hume.

"I am happy to take on this assignment for the balance of this extraordinary election," Hume said in a statement Tuesday.
Susteren had been with Fox News for more than a decade. "On the Record" airs on Fox from 7-8 p.m. ET.
This latest shakeup at Fox comes on the same day the network settled a lawsuit with former anchor Gretchen Carlson.
