Obama Tries to Show He's Tough

Having had some time to reflect on the subject, here's my take on McCain's house gaffe.  Obama has made a mistake by personally going after McCain on this issue.  He should have left it to surrogates -- and the media (or are they the same thing?) -- to beat up McCain.  Instead, he got involved, and thus, got his hands dirty.  He's now also playing the "class card."

So why is Obama doing this when he could have allowed others to hit McCain?  This overreaction, no doubt, was a forced error.  Obama has been criticized lately for not being tough enough.  This was his way to prove to Democrats that he's not going to be Kerry or Dukakis ...
