On the same subject, Dems Robert Byrd (W.V.) and Tim Johnson (S.D.) have decided to back Alito.

The Kos Kidz are, predictably, pumped about the idea of a filibuster, but one commenter wonders if Kerry's '08 ambitions don't undercut his position.

Specter announced a vote is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Monday, with possible debate over the weekend.
