Exit Polls: Most Voters Decided Their Presidential Vote Months Ago

Most voters had already made up their minds long before casting their ballot on Election Day—and months ahead of the FBI’s last minute decision to reopen the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s emails.

According to early CNN exit polling, 62 percent of voters had decided who they wanted to choose for president before September. 

Only 7 percent decided in recent days.
