In recent days Islamic terrorist organization Hamas, which is funded and sponsored by Iran, launched hundreds of rockets into Israel. Their goal was to kill as many innocent people as possible.

Each of these alerts means an air raid siren sounded, signalling an incoming rocket from Gaza. Each of these alerts also meant that the people living in the area under attack from Gaza only had a few seconds to run for cover. #IsraelUnderAttack pic.twitter.com/uP5miNh8uS
The rocket fire was aimed at communities living close to the Gaza Strip. In Sderot, one rocket landed next to a kindergarten as children and teachers desperately tried to get into bomb shelters. Because of the close proximity to the rocket fire, people living in the area only have 5-15 seconds to take cover.

In response, Israel has taken out a number of Gaza targets and Hamas has entered into a cease fire, for now.

Tonight, IDF fighter jets targeted over 20 terror sites in military compounds &in a Hamas training camp. Among the sites targeted were a weapons manufacturing &storage facility, a complex used for the Hamas' naval force, & a military compound used for rocket launching experiments
