Orlando Gunman's Wife to Be Released from Federal Custody Pending Trial

California District Judge Donna Ryu has agreed to release the wife of the Orlando nightclub shooter until she's tried on charges.

Her husband, Omar Mateen, carried out an attack on the Pulse nightclub killing 49 people last year.

The judge decided on Wednesday that 31-year-old Salman isn't a flight risk or a danger to public safety and has no connections to ISIS. She has been charged with aiding and abetting Mateen and lying to investigators.

Noor admittedly knew about the planned attack and failed to report the information to authorities according to NBC News:

Noor told the FBI she was with him when he bought ammunition and a holster, several officials familiar with the case said. She told the FBI that she once drove him to the gay nightclub, Pulse, because he wanted to scope it out.

And prior to carrying out the attack, Mateen bought nearly $9,000 worth of jewelry at a nearby store in Orlando, according to ABC News.

A trial hasn't been scheduled.
