Jonathan Klein, who heads CNN's U.S. division, is considering replacing primetime host Campbell Brown with New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer. You know, the Spitzer who resigned over not just soliciting prostitutes, but actually engaging in a prostitution ring that was being investigated by the federal government, while serving as the Governor of one of the most populous U.S. states? I'm not sure how that behavior warrants someone being awarded a prime time television show, but I guess you can't take anything for granted these days.
Apparently, Klein is friendly with Spitzer, and is therefore inclined to consider him for the slot. I don't want to know what those two men do when they go out on the weekends.
