Sick: Pro-Terrorism Lunatic Revealed Why He Shot Kindergarteners

Sick: Pro-Terrorism Lunatic Revealed Why He Shot Kindergarteners

If a right-wing extremist had shot two kindergarten-aged children at a Muslim religious school in the United States -- and made clear that he'd done so as "revenge" for terror attacks against Israel -- do you think that might be a major national news story?  First of all, the media fixates on school shootings, except when the details are inconvenient to narratives, so that would fuel quite a lot of coverage unto itself.  And an act of domestic political terrorism, explicitly tied to the conflict in the Middle East, would also be a major storyline.  We'd be having a "national conversation" about 'Islamophobia.'  So is it not...interesting that this story barely made a blip in many American media circles?

Horrifying:

Details, from a foreign news outlet:

A gunman in the US state of California who shot and injured two children aged six and five at a school before fatally shooting himself used a "guise" to gain access to the school. The children are in critical but stable condition and were being treated at a trauma centre, officials said on Thursday. The attack happened on Wednesday at a school affiliated with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church near Oroville, California, about 55 miles (89km) from Sacramento. Investigators said they believe the gunman targeted the school because of its affiliation with the church and was motivated as a response to the war in Gaza. The sheriff on Thursday said a note was found detailing the gunman's motive. The note said he sought to carry out the "child executions" as a "response to America's involvement with Genocide and Oppression of Palestinians along with the attacks towards Yemen". Authorities said the gunman had a lengthy mental health and criminal history, which included charges of theft, fraud and forgery over the years.

This sicko is dead, and the kids he tried to kill have survived, thank God. But this was a politically-motivated shooting of Christian children, by a "pro-Palestinian" extremist. And it's barely a news story. Just as attacks like this are increasingly shrugged off as par for the course:

These demented people aren't subtle.  They've been telling us exactly who they are for more than a year:

Anti-Semitic and anti-Western radicals are growing increasingly violent, using utterly despicable lies about Israel's non-existent "genocide" to justify assaults against Jews and Christians.  As we keep saying, Hamas supporters and apologists are the very worst people in Western societies.  Some are merely morally vile; others are outright dangerous to public safety.  Western leaders can either recognize it, or they can allow civilization to be eroded and threatened.  I'll leave you with this: Should anyone be surprised that there's huge overlap between the "pro-Palestinian" mob and the ghouls celebrating the cold-blooded murder of a health insurance executive in New York City (and even promoting more violence)?
