Nikki Haley: John Kerry Should Learn Something from Dr. Kissinger

Earlier this month we learned that former Secretary of State John Kerry has been going behind the White House's back to meet with Iran in an attempt to save the nuclear deal. President Trump announced he was taking the U.S. out of the agreement in May. In different interviews, Kerry suggested he told the regime to wait Trump out.

Kerry met with Iranian Former Minister Javad Zarif "at least three or four times," he revealed.

That wasn't cool, according to U.S. ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley, who is accompanying President Trump at the United Nations General Assembly this week in New York.

"What Kerry did was not only disrespectful, it was hurtful to America," Haley said on "Fox and Friends" Wednesday. "When we are sitting there trying to get Iran to come to the table in a way that they understand – the ballistic missile testing has to stop, the support of terrorism has to stop, they have to quit selling arms to the Houthis. To have another American go in and say, ‘don’t worry about it,’ that absolutely is anti-American and it was hurtful to the American people. If Secretary Kerry was Secretary of State, he would not want anyone doing that."

The panel mentioned Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger, because he too engages in his own bouts of diplomacy. He, however, never does it in secret.

"Dr. Kissinger never goes out of the country without telling our administration," Haley noted. "When he comes back he tells our administration. He works with us and tells us what he’s doing all the time."

"You never to have to worry that he’s not on America’s side," she added.

Haley defended Trump's foreign policy prowess and sounded off on the "disgusting" criticism that he's mentally unfit.

Trump is "getting stuff done left and right," she said.

Take North Korea, she said. Kim Jong Un is now socializing with the region and at the last military parade, they did not display any nuclear weapons. That is because Trump has learned to capitalize on Chairman Kim's negotiating style.

"This president he is nonstop going all the time," Haley said. "The cabinet’s just trying to keep up with him."
