"Obama or Die"

That's what Puff Daddy/P.Diddy/Diddy was chanting last night at the BET Awards.  "Obama or Die"?  Yup, that's an appeal to reason that convinces me.

As the linked piece points out, Puff/P/Diddy was running around telling everyone to "Vote or Die" (presumably for John Kerry) in 2004.  Obviously, the chant made no sense then -- a majority of voters supported the President (and plenty of Americans didn't vote at all) yet seem to be in radiant good health.  And it makes no sense now.

In a brilliant explication of the obvious, I'd just point out that it's hard to see how this silliness helps Obama with the voters he needs to attract.  But it is fun for Puffy.
