The media is hard-pressed to give Trump credit for killing al-Baghdadi, but they will blame him for killing Elijah Cummings. April Ryan, a CNN political analyst and White House correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks, implied that President Trump's criticism of the late Elijah Cummings caused the congressman's death.

Referring to Kimberly Klacik, the 37-year-old woman whose reporting on the squalor conditions in Baltimore caught the president's attention, Ryan tweeted, "This is the woman who created all the controversy that made [President Trump] go after [Rep. Cummings] and Baltimore. Cummings never got over the attack on him and the city. It is all because of her."

CNN's Brian Stelter quickly agreed but added that it was also Klacik's "ability to get on Fox" that caused the congressman's death.

Klacik exposed the trash and rats plaguing certain areas of West Baltimore. "Rats & roaches are a problem in almost every home," Klacik tweeted.

Klacik's report inspired President Trump's criticisms of Rep. Elijah Cummings and the conditions in Baltimore. Cummings had been in Congress since 1996.

On Saturday, Kimberly Klacik announced she was running for Cummings's old House seat. Cummings passed away last month due to "complications concerning longstanding health challenges," his office said in a statement. But over at CNN, they think Trump killed him. Just another reason Americans hate the mainstream media.
