Liberals Are Losing Their Minds Over This Unique Texas Billboard

A few Texans have a message for any liberals driving through their state: Keep on moving.

Kyle Mccallie, a young man from Fritch, Texas was on his way to work Tuesday when he saw an unusual billboard along I-40 near Vega.

The sign reads, “Liberals please continue on I-40 until you have left our GREAT STATE OF TEXAS.”

So much for that Southern hospitality we always hear about.

The photo has since been shared more than 14,000 times and has received close to 2,000 reactions on Facebook.

It’s still not known who paid for the billboard—Burkett Media, whose logo is seen below the sign, told USA Today the company is not affiliated with the message—but whoever did sure is receiving a lot of thumbs up from conservative Texans.

Mccallie, who posted the original photo, said he’s all for it; he even made it his cover photo on social media. And it’s clear he’s not the only one who got a kick out of the sign.

Many commented “love it” on the photo or announced their plans to move to the Lone Star State. Others wanted the billboard for their own town.

“I am totally stealing this right now. Texas rocks!” one user wrote.

“Born and raised in Texas love this sign!! There's a lot if people that feel this way more than you can imagine they will not say anything they just vote that's when you know they are out there,” wrote another.

“Texas has it right!” someone else added.

There were dozens of “lol”s and “haha”s mixed in, as well.

But of course, not everyone found humor in the sign.

“Disgusting right wight filth bullying tactic! Have been a Texan for life and am repulsed by the rest of the world viewing this sh**!” someone commented.

“All I have to say is MAKE ME! I'm shocked that all the words on this sign are spelled correctly, considering some right-wing group put it up,” wrote another.

“Couldn't pay me enough to even consider driving through your redneck state. It's one of the most Disgusting States in America! A filthy, close-minded s**thole!” another chimed in.

And then there was this gem: “While there are a few liberal oases in Texas, the state is generally populated by backwards idiots whose only concerns seem to be amassing stockpiles of guns and hating brown people.”

Those calling the sign hateful and divisive clearly don't see the irony of their own comments.

Mccallie also told USA Today he has personally received many obscene messages since posting the photo.
