During Judge Neil Grosuch’s confirmation hearing, Senate Democrats attempted to portray the Supreme Court Justice nominee as a monster unfit to fill the late Justice Antonin Scalia’s seat. However, the only person they made look incompetent was themselves.
Here are four instances in which Senate Democrats tried, and failed, to take down Gorsuch.
When Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) tried to expose Gorsuch’s supposed ties to dark money and proved…nothing.
When Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) asked Gorsuch about these sexism allegations, and he gave this perfect response.
When Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) accused Gorsuch of not fighting for the “little guy,” and he proceeded to list off all the cases in which he did just that.

When Sen. Feinstein pressed Gorsuch on his abortion stance, and he fired back saying that it would be highly inappropriate for him to offer his personal opinion on the matter.
When Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) brought up the Republican congressman who said he wants Grosuch to be confirmed because he would uphold President Trump travel ban, and Grosuch pointed out how “grossly improper” it would be for a judge to make promises on how they’d rule in a case just to get confirmed.
Well done, Gorsuch. We’re looking forward to your confirmation.
