Last month, Malia Obama skipped the DNC to go to Lollapalooza. (Good call, girlfriend.) A 17-second video surfaced on Wednesday that shows her smoking something that looks a lot like a joint.

Predictably, the internet was sent into a bit of a tizzy over this, and "Malia Obama" was the top trend in the United States on Twitter.
I say: so what? She's 18, an adult, and she is acting like most teens her age. Nobody was hurt by her (possible) drug use. She didn't ask to have a famous father, and it's not right to put her on blast for this.
Let's be honest: most of us are lucky nobody followed us around with a camera phone to record everything questionable we did at age 18. Leave Malia alone.
