Chris Pratt Voted 'Worst Chris' in Hollywood Because of His Politics?

You may have seen that social media resurrected the "Battle of the Chrises" again this week. The years old debate over the best "Chris" in Hollywood. The contenders are, of course, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Chris Pine, and Chris Evans. They have plenty in common: talent, good looks, blond hair. And three of the four Chrises have starring roles in "The Avengers" series. Mr. Pine had to settle for Star Trek.

The competition is fierce at first look. And yet, when the question was asked which of the Chrises was the worst, Mr. Pratt turned out to be the easy choice for fans.

But why Chris Pratt? He's just as cute, charming, funny and rugged as the others. And he's Star Lord! Well, according to the internet, he's just too conservative. For instance, Pratt has made no secret of the fact that he enjoys hunting, and that activity has apparently cost him some fans. Others condemned Pratt for supposedly attending a church that opposes homosexuality.

Those same critics also noticed that Pratt was MIA at the "Avengers" heavy fundraiser for Joe Biden last week. Chris Evans and Don Cheadle were in attendance for the Democratic nominee, as well as several other cast members of the movie franchise.

Some of Pratt's Marvel cast mates, however - even some pretty liberal ones who were at the Biden fundraiser - stuck up for their friend.

Iron Man Robert Downey, Jr., the patriarch of the Marvel Universe, was just as eager to defend Pratt, who he calls his Christian brother.

But perhaps the best response came from Pratt's wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, who shamed the media for its priorities.

"Is this really what we need?" she asked. "There's so much going on in the world and people are struggling in so many ways," she wrote. "Being mean is so yesterday. There's enough room to love all these guys. Love is what we all need not meanness and bullying. Let's try that."
