Money makes the world go ‘round, and other people’s money makes the political world spin like crazy and political consultants rich. Nothing against money or political consultants, but sometimes you have to scratch your head about how these people try to weasel their way into your wallets. Things must not be going well for Democrats these days, as they have busted out the “experts” in order to get your cash, and no one is more “expert” than the one and only Dr. Anthony Fauci.
A group of leftist con artists called “314 Action” sent an appeal for money by dusting off one of the worst public figures of the last 50 years: Anthony Fauci.
I’m sure Fauci did his best, but his best sucked. During COVID, this guy was literally on every side of issues ranging from masks (they do nothing and are a waste, to they are necessary and life-saving), social distancing (it’ll “save lives!” to “We don’t have any idea where that idea came from). If you wiped down your groceries with alcohol or weren’t able to see a loved one for a year, Fauci’s fingerprints were all over that.
You’d think the guy whose “claim to fame” was working on an AIDS vaccine that never, ever happened, might not be your go-to for, well, anything, but in the spirit of holding a job for a long time in government, therefore being promoted, overriding the ability to do that job well and earn a promotion, Fauci was anointed THE GUY to follow by leftists.
How “successful” was he? The only argument for him basically boils down to “It could have been a lot worse.” That’s like telling your recently divorced friend that at least it didn’t end like OJ’s divorce did – sure, it’s better than absolutely awful, but there is a lot of room before you scrape the bottom of the barrel, isn’t there?
The email reads, “Public Health Poll: Five-times as many Americans trust Dr. Anthony Fauci on matters of public health than they do Health Secretary RFK Jr.! Republicans have spent years demonizing and investigating Dr. Fauci, the chief medical advisor to 7 former presidents who led the nation through the AIDS, Ebola, Zika, and COVID-19 crises with evidence, facts, and reason.”
Does anyone remember cures for any of those viruses? Neither do I.
The “five-times as many” part I found interesting, as they cite an Annenberg Public Policy Survey, so I looked it up. In the email, they give Fauci 54 percent confidence, which is weird because most people haven’t heard from or of him in years. As for Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, the email gives him only a nine percent confidence. That struck me as odd.
When I looked up the latest survey from Annenberg, I found a result that, compared to current officials, “lower than the confidence people say they had in Dr. Anthony Fauci (54 percent), former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, when he was in office.”
That means the data for Fauci is old, likely from long before he was exposed as a complete fraud. If you control the unit of measure, you can control everything – especially when you hide that information from your audience.
What about the nine percent for RFK Jr? The findings from the survey read, “About 4 in 10 U.S. adults are confident Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (38%) and Dr. Mehmet Oz (42%), administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, are providing trustworthy information on public health.”
I wasn’t a math major, but 38 percent seems higher than nine percent, doesn’t it?
So, where does the idea of a 54 percent to nine percent slaughter come from? No idea. The “progressive” group doesn’t explain, or even hint about it.
When the truth isn’t helpful to Democrats (and that happens a lot), they simply ignore it and make up whatever they want to fill their needs. The group is notorious for raising money for radical candidates and causes, and spending a ton to twist reality. People are getting rich, but people are also being moved to action.
But can you imagine being moved to anything by Anthony Fauci, other than embarrassment? That’s Democrats today.
