DNC PR Firm – CBS NEWS
The only saving grace was that they were not quite as bad as the ABC presidential debate.
Following the vice presidential debate moderated by Margaret Brennan and Norah O’Donnell, there were a couple of primary takeaways: J.D. Vance abused Tim Walz, and the moderators were clearly in the tank to bring down Vance. In what was obviously a 3-on-1 matchup, Vance not only held his own but was calm, in command, and did not allow the slanted journalists to get the better of him.
In a debate where it had been established the moderators would not fact-check the candidates, there was Brennan doing so repeatedly, getting in her jabs to supposedly correct Vance before quickly moving on to the next question. By the third attempt of this, Vance was having none of it and made a point of addressing her "correction" on Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio.
As Brennan tried to move on, Vance would not allow it, pointing out how she broke protocol and he was going to respond to her extracurricular comments. He was so effective that they had to resort to cutting off his microphone.

JD Vance just TOOK COMMAND of this debate by fact-checking these debate "moderators" who tried to fact-check him!

Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – MSNBC
Okay then, doesn’t this mean they are not strong and powerful women, after all?
In one of the more desperate attempts to diffuse the Vance victory and try to knock him down a peg or so, Nicolle Wallace tried to reinterpret that highlight of the evening, when Vance would not allow the women running the debate to steamroll him on the fact-checking.
Wallace comes with the rather daft conclusion that this will hurt Vance with female voters because she dubbed his desire to correct their flawed premise as “man-splaining.”
These are unserious people, devoid of rationality.

As the approach to all political coverage starts with “I need to show the Republican was bad”, they resort to emotional conclusions.
When JD Vance corrected the moderators it was “mansplaining”.

Okay, Nicolle, put down the mango Celsius, walk around the studio, and compose yourself.
To see how JD Vance has the press in utter disarray due to the fact that he manages the press narratives and battles back against false premises they throw at him in a calm and controlling fashion, Nicolle Wallace became unglued when she was unable to counter him in the post-debate coverage. Behold as she becomes so flustered and untethered she cannot make sense.
If you needed more proof that Vance won big, Nicole Wallace’s meltdown provides it.

Body Checking the Fact-Checkers – CBS NEWS
Do you guys not know we have already unspun this claim?
There are a number of ways this “correction” by CBS News is so egregious, starting with being the host network of the debate. But this desperate attempt is worse because it followed the media tide of redefining Kamala’s past, and it was concerning an issue – her being the Border Czar – that has been proven out for some time already. That they tried this in a fact check (a supposedly final determination of the truth) is the icing on this crap-cake.
Not simply is there ample proof – in the press – that established she was not technically named the Czar only because her assigned duties were even greater in scope, but there was CBS News, after denying she was in charge of the border, reporting on how she was in charge of the border.

This is like saying the deer blasted by a car was evasive and fleet of foot.
Long before the debate was over, the internet began mushrooming with memes, most of which concerned Tim Walz and his wide-eyed anxious expressions. These were truly mirthful and did not help his cause, but here comes Politico to the rescue on behalf of Timbo.
They went to a body language expert, and his analysis was not that Walz was in panic mode, he was showing his emotional intensity and “passion.”
