Can you imagine having Joe Biden as President of the United States for 55 years? He started in 2020 and he would be President until 2075? Of course, he would have had to start at a younger age, but I’m talking only in conjecture here. It’s doubtful that America would survive 55 years of Biden, but given the last three years, the immorality, the degradation, the utter ungodliness, filth, and decadence the country would have to endure is virtually unimaginable. But try to imagine it anyway. Fifty-five years of Biden.
There was, in the 7th century B.C., a king in Judah named Manasseh who was every bit as wicked, though hardly more so, than Joe Biden. And he reigned for 55 years. You can read about him in 2 Kings 21 and 2 Chronicles 33. Almost 55 years of Joe Biden plagued the southern Jewish kingdom, and history tells us they did not long outlive Manasseh’s tenure. Even though Manasseh’s son, Josiah, was one of the godliest kings Judah ever had, and tried to point the people back to Jehovah, it was too late. The rot was too deep. The wound was incurable. The people of Judah were soon led into Babylonian captivity, and their freedom was wiped from the earth. Interestingly, Manasseh, in his late life, humbled himself before God and repented. But it was in vain. The corrupt seeds he had sown were too acutely entrenched in the hearts of the Jews. And Manasseh was blamed by God for their ultimate “trouble” (Jeremiah 15:4).
We in America are in angst at having to endure four years (maybe eight) of Joe Biden. Imagine 55 years of this evil man.
However, actually, in one sense America has been, for the last several decades, suffering the kind of immoral decadence that Joe Biden has exacerbated over the last three-plus years. We have millions of people who have rejected the virtuous Republic our Founders intended America to be to wallow in a putrid cesspool, a nihilistic, hedonistic pleasure palace, worshiping a golden calf of sex, drugs, and selfish debauchery. Create your own god and you can make him into whatever you want him to be.
It took a long time for America to get to where it has sunk so low as to produce, let alone elect to high office, people like Joe Biden, Gavin Newsom, Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, etc. This degradation of American morality and culture didn’t happen overnight; as I have said many times before, history is a process, not an event. Joe Biden is just the culmination of many years of an America that slept and let people like him take over our education system, media, and government. And, even too many churches.
Louisiana recently became the first state to require the Ten Commandments to be displayed in public school classrooms. It used to be common, but then the pagans took over America’s schools and booted God out. Well, Louisiana has taken the first step back in the right direction. I truly hope that most of the other states will follow suit. Some obviously won’t, but teaching virtue again is the road back for America. It is the ONLY road back for America.
Gavin Newsom, of course, is aghast at what Louisiana did. He tweeted, “Louisiana has the worst crime rate in the nation—but this is their priority (i.e., requiring the Ten Commandments be posted in schools).” Given the current condition of his state, Newsom shouldn’t be talking about others, but, folks, Gavin Newsom is a perfect example of the new, nihilistic, godless America that has been created over the past—55?—years. The Joe Biden/Manasseh American. Why would anybody oppose teaching children ``you shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not covet,” and “honor your father and mother”—why would any decent, sane human being oppose that—especially in a state with a high crime rate? But there is a very good reason why Newsom does oppose it.
The Left resists the teaching of the Ten Commandments because so much of its constituency DOES believes in murder (abortion), theft, covetousness, and every other sin condemned in the Ten Commandments. This is the Democratic Party’s constituency. Newson is appealing to his community, these are the people who vote for him and the Democrats. So, they are going to fight teaching people the things that might cost them political power and votes. Newsom, Biden, the Left care absolutely nothing about the well-being of the American people, or decency and goodness. They care only about themselves and their positions of power. It is utter evil.
Plus, a society that honors and follows the Ten Commandments won’t need much government to control it. The Democrats need societal chaos that requires a larger government to suppress the disorder their godless policies have unleashed. Virtuous people don’t require much government because they take care of themselves. But if there is one thing the Marxist, Leftist, Democratic Party believes in, it is more, bigger, and eventually totalitarian government. The LAST thing the Democrats want is a virtuous society of self-controlled people who obey the Ten Commandments. That is horrifying to them.
This is the condition America is in right now. It took several decades of Manasseh-type leadership to educate and produce such a degenerate mentality that we witness now in the Left. The Louisiana law is a first move away from that. But it took years to descend to Joe Biden and Gavin Newsom. Even if we elected Josiah as President, the cancer is too deep now to be cured in a short time. It will take time to return to where America needs to be to be truly great again.
But Louisiana provided a good start. Let’s hope other states will follow suit.
