The Big Con: How the American Public Is Being Bamboozled by Joe Biden and the Democrats

American citizens enjoy being manipulated. They willingly accept the avalanche of lies that is thrown at them daily by the government, the Democratic Party, and the media. Here is an accounting of how we are being conned.

Perhaps the biggest con is the climate argument. Government policy in the U.S. and most of Europe is based on the erroneous belief that human beings can control the climate. This is pure nonsense that is contradicted by the facts. Contrary to frightening warnings from Al Gore and Greta Thunberg, the glaciers have not melted and the world has not come to an end. We are not experiencing a climate crisis. Biden’s attempt to eliminate fossil fuels is sending us into economic collapse. Our economy is dependent upon fossil fuels. A practical alternative does not exist and will not exist in the foreseeable future. The billions spent by the Biden administration to cure this nonexistent problem are an extravagant waste of taxpayer dollars.

The threat of horrific global warming was set in motion in 1972 by the UN-sponsored Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Its conclusions were based on faulty science that has been refuted by thousands of scientists, including the 31,000 physicists and physical chemists of the Global Warming Petition Project. These experts have stated that “there is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.” Go home, Greta, and leave us alone.

The Big Con in Washington is that Joe Biden is president. Biden is nothing more than an actor pretending to be president. The real decisions are being made by anonymous advisers in the White House. We don’t know for sure who is running our government except that it isn’t Joe Biden.

As far back as I can remember, we have been conned into believing that the Justice Department and the FBI are the protectors of our democratic system. False. Under the Biden presidency, the U.S. has a double standard for justice. Federal agencies are being weaponized to arrest, imprison, and otherwise crush anyone who leads opposition to Joe Biden’s government. “The FBI is now an organization solely focused on destroying the domestic enemies of the Democratic Party,” said talk show host Jesse Kelly. Republicans who have done nothing other than support Donald Trump have been persecuted and prosecuted. If you are conservative and expect to receive justice, you are in the wrong country.

The Democratic Party, which is responsible for an explosion in criminal activity throughout the nation, is trying to con citizens into believing that crime is not a major problem. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul insists that Americans’ rising fear about crime has been manufactured by “master manipulators” in a national conspiracy ahead of Election Day. “Safer places are the Democratic states,” she claimed. This is a complete con and an insult to the intelligence of anyone who has been watching the news.

On the social scale, a major con is the allegation that an individual can change his or her gender. “Society has accepted a destructive lie that you can create your own reality and define your own identity,” says author Ben Shapiro. “Transgender isn’t real,” says women’s advocate and author Kara Dansky. “It was simply made up. Words like gender identity don’t have any meaning. Every single human being is either a male person or a female person.”

“We don’t need science to prove what gender you are,” said North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson. “Go around the corner to the bathroom and drop your pants or whatever you’ve got on, and I can show you what you are.”

One of the most destructive cons is the argument, put forward by Critical Race Theory and Black Lives Matter, that all white people are racists. Portraying America as “an incurable mass of bigoted whites,” said Ben Shapiro, has become a national pastime. But is it true? Black America, says black author Shelby Steele, “no longer has the excuse of oppression. Without oppression—and it must be acknowledged that blacks are no longer oppressed in America—the group itself becomes automatically responsible for its inferiority and no-competitiveness.” It is much easier to avoid that responsibility, says Steele, “by arguing that whites should be responsible for our development.”

The systemic racism argument is a leftist canard that is poisoning America. “White institutional racism has disappeared from our society,” says author Scott Greer. “Black Americans now have every opportunity that white Americans have long enjoyed.” The term “systemic racism” has no meaning, says black economist Thomas Sowell. “I don’t think the people who use it have any clear idea what they’re saying. Their purpose served is to have other people cave in,” Sowell concludes. “America is not a racist country,” agrees black political activist Candace Owens. “Anyone claiming otherwise has a vested interest in keeping us divided. The easiest way to maintain power over any group is to keep those within it at war with one another.”

One of the newest cons is that we are not experiencing runaway inflation and we are not in a recession. Inflation hit 8.3% on an annualized basis in August. This remains near the 40-year high set earlier this year. Based on the general definition—two consecutive quarters of negative gross domestic product (GDP)—the U.S. entered a recession over the summer. Yet the White House has suggested that the U.S. is in the midst of an “historic” economic recovery and that the narrative of higher gas prices is false. “We just received news that our economy had 0% inflation in July,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tweeted. Can they expect anyone to take them seriously?

The U.S. military is being undermined by the con that its ranks are swollen with white supremacists. Our military has been effective because it has always been a meritocracy. The introduction of social engineering—especially affirmative action—is draining the military of its combat effectiveness.

Last but not least is the COVID con, used to regulate when people can leave their homes, go to work, and visit family members. “Politicians are continuing to use the virus as a pretext to force their agendas on an unwilling and weary population,” said Tucker Carlson on Fox News. After we were told by the CDC that the vaccines are 100% effective, we are discovering “that turned out not simply to be untrue, but in some sense to be the opposite of the truth. In some cases,” said Carlson, “the vaccinated are more likely to get variants of COVID. The death rates around the world for the vaccinated are extraordinarily high, but anyone who had doubts about what [the CDC] said was told to shut up. Now that we know that virtually everything they said about COVID was wrong, however, no one has admitted it, and no one has been punished.”

The ignorance of our population enables the perpetuation of the Big Con. We desperately need to replace our current state of gullibility with critical thinking, which is characterized by rationality, common sense, and reliance upon evidence. While the Democrats remain in power, none of these can be expected to emanate from Washington.
