Journalist Admits Relationship Exists Between the Media and the Democrats

The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Townhall.com.

Townhall's daily VIP feature with coverage on the deeply flawed aspects of journalism in the nation. We'll look to bring accountability to the mishaps, malaprops, misdeeds, manipulations, malpractice, and manufactured narratives in mainstream media.

Prose & Contradiction – CNN

  • Man obsessed with the mirror lacks self-awareness.

On his flagging weekend show, Jim Acosta seems particularly skilled at two things; being unable to leave Donald Trump alone and complaining bitterly about the man, usually with caustic insults.

For his latest, the network personality who specializes in delusion accuses Trump of behaving like a "Karen" and then tells him to go somewhere else. The fact is, all Acosta has to do is...anything else. But he is incapable of this. He needs Trump for content and purpose, and the obviousness of this makes his bleating about the man nothing but mirthful empty boasting.

Legalized Press-titution – JULIA IOFFE

  • Confirming details about the press and the Democrats already evidenced.

In her bi-weekly email newsletter, Ioffe admits to a relationship that exists between the media and the ruling party of the nation, which is heavily favored by journalists.

Julia lets slip a conversation she had with a White House reporter, and the inherent admissions are quite revealing.

Alex Thompson of Politico shares this excerpt, which is itself not so shocking, save for the fact that the players actually put to voice what is primarily accepted by the larger population.

Blue-Anon – MSNBC

On her weekend show, Tiffany Cross had a medical doctor on to discuss pandemic issues and go over the details of vaccines and the new variants. Over the course of their discussion, it turned to the amount of resistance to getting vaccinated and why certain groups are refusing to get the shot.

There has been copious amounts of coverage in the press regarding how Republicans have been most likely to refuse the shot, and they discussed how those people are weak-minded individuals who are susceptible to conspiracies. But then, Cross and her guest, Dr. Chris Pernell, had to face the reality that a large segment of the Black population refuses to get vaccinated. According to the physician, there is a ready explanation for this; those white supremacists are to blame for Blacks not getting the vaccine.

- "I actually see that as another example of the proliferation of white supremacy. Because, in particular, they are targeting communities of color. And they are targeting the historical injustices, the atrocity, that communities of color have experienced, as a way to play on their vulnerabilities. You have people who have questions. You have people, unfortunately, who have become susceptible to the conspiracy theories."

So to summarize – anyone who refuses the vaccine is a dolt who is easily duped by conspiracies, but in order to explain why Blacks are refusing, we need to buy into a conspiracy, that being white supremacists selling a conspiracy to the Black community who are vulnerable to being duped. The good doctor cannot explain why anyone within the Black community would be listening to the directives of white supremacists, but that is a detail that cannot be explored for fear of unraveling this crackpot theory.

DNC PR Firm – MEDIAITE

A recent explosive report in Politico came out that had testimony from nearly two dozen current and former VP aides describing how the Office of the Vice President is rife with dysfunction and that all the problems descend from Harris herself. It was a long and detailed report, one that had the administration scrambling – and the First Husband.

In response, there was a barbeque staged at the Harris home for staff members, and Mediaite dutifully covered the affair, reposting tweets of numerous photos of beaming workers.

This report was supplied by the compliant Tommy Christopher, who last month covered the already forgotten all-female senators dinner VP Harris hosted, which he described as "a historic bipartisan affair."

Reporting On The Mirror – VARIOUS OUTLETS

  • The inability to recognize the commentary on their industry is the takeaway here.

There has been a disturbance felt in The Force. A TikTok personality named Addison Rae made a post where she touted how, after a brief stint taking journalism classes, she has been hired to be – a journalist.

The fact that a self-described influencer and video maven landed work has rankled the psyche of quite a few others in the business.

The replies are filled with bilious comments from those toiling in the same industry, all of whom are scorching her while excusing away the very industry that saw fit to give her work.

Certainly, her having close to 5 million followers was a motivating factor in hiring her. Of course, lost on those carping about this, her certainly being told she needs to get a real job is forgotten the moment she lands what they declare is a real job.
