Leftist Professor Lobs Racist Diatribe at Trump Supporters

The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Townhall.com.

The world is full of self-righteous crackpots.

Especially the troglodytes who crawl out from their subterranean dwellings to play the racist card every time the scent of a Trump supporter is in the air.

Or Krispy Kreme has its "Hot Now" light flashing, and it's time for a second breakfast.

Enter:

Rutgers University Associate Professor of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Brittney Cooper clad in a tight-fitting "Black Femme Power" t-shirt.

Lately, Cooper's been showcasing the jaw-dropping intelligence of leftist academia, making the case why parents should strongly consider where they send their kids to college. Unless, of course, they have a bizarre fetish to flush their money down the same hole Cooper's words belong.

Upset over the recent push to reopen businesses and return to work before America goes bankrupt, Cooper had a severe bout of verbal diarrhea on April 28 under her Twitter handle @ProfessorCrunk. She aimed at (but sorely missed) Trump supporters in a Twitter rant blaming them for COVID-19, among other things.

"I am saying some obvious things this morning," she wrote, "because as a country we are too good at skipping over the audience and we might as well say this to people as often as we can. F*ck each and every Trump supporter. You all absolutely did this. You are to blame."

Obviously, competence is no longer an employment prerequisite at institutions of higher learning these days. Unless, maybe, they measure competence by the pound. Or coloring book collections.

Or maybe potential professors answer a one-question employment test: "A purple-haired feminist on a three-wheeled electric bike has 40 candy bars. She eats 35. What does she have now?"

Answer: "Coronavirus. Because of Trump."

We all know the real answer is five candy bars, three flat tires, and diabetes.

And the only reason the purple-haired feminist can afford to buy 40 candy bars and an electric bike (to save the planet and maintain social distancing) is thanks to Trump's economy.

Trump's economy was excellent for everyone, especially minorities. Great, until COVID-19 swept the globe, promptly followed by lies and propaganda promulgated by China, the World Health Organization, and American leftist "state" media. (Newt Gingrich aptly lays out the timeline in a March 26, 2020 Newsweek commentary here, "How China Mismanaged and Lied About Coronavirus—Then Blamed America.)

Cooper outdid herself with two over-the-top conspiratorial tweets:

"I feel like most Black people are clear that this utterly absurd [sic] to push to reopen the country is all about a gross necropolitical calculation that it is Black people who are dying disproportionately from COVID."

And

"Not only do white conservatives not care about Black life, but my most cynical negative read of the white supremacists among them is that they welcome this massive winnowing of Black folks in order to slow demographic shifts and shore up political power."

True-ish statement. Wrong party.

Cooper and her fellow supercilious brainiacs ignore that Margaret Sanger, the founder of Democrats' pet organization, Planned Parenthood, was a racist and eugenicist.

In a December 10, 1939 letter, Sanger wrote, "…It seems to me from my experience…that while the colored Negroes have great respect for white doctors, they can get closer to their own members and more or less lay their cards on the table, which means their ignorance, superstitions and doubts…The ministers work is also important and also should be trained…We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members…"

On a happy note. Because it's always good to end on a happy note.

Before the Chinese coronavirus gutted the economy, a November 6, 2019, Bloomberg piece reported "unemployment rates among African Americans, Hispanics and Asians are all at historic lows… It's not just that the job market has been good: For minorities, it has been historically good."

Cooper wants to blame something on Trump supporters, why not that?

You're welcome.
