People tend to come together in moments of crisis, most people anyway. There’s always that selfish jerk in a zombie movie interested in grabbing the wads of cash or something else they’d always wanted but couldn’t get before everything went to hell, and it usually costs them. Democrats are that selfish guy. And while it varies what the cost is in the movies – either his life or the life of someone else – in the case of coronavirus, let it be the political lives of every Democrat, because they truly are bad people.
It’s not uncommon for must-pass bills to be treated like Christmas trees – with Members of Congress hanging their personal ornaments on it knowing an earmark for their district or state will not be noticed because the bill is so big. These bills tend to be rushed through, usually in the last minute to fend off a shutdown, where lives are not at risk, so it’s an easy game to play. But Democrats have chosen to play this game with lives at risk, lives they are putting more at risk to win payoffs to their base.
The words necessary to accurately describe how opportunistic and disgusting the behavior of Democrats has been over the third coronavirus bill has been are not fit for a family audience. Take every four-letter word you can imagine, square it, and create a few new ones and you’ll be close to describing people who see one Republican Senator diagnosed with coronavirus and 4 others in self-quarantine because of possible exposure as “leverage.”
The shame that Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Chris Murphy, and all the rest should feel (but don’t) must never be forgotten, and they should never be allowed to hide from it. Saving the economy of the United States from collapse is not the venue to insist on “Green” agenda items and payoffs to unions. Yet these piles of human garbage are counting on a few things they know will give them cover in order to play this game of Russian Roulette…with the gun to the heads of Americans.
First, it will soon be forgotten. Sad as it is to say, many people won’t remember what Democrats did this weekend. The sign of relief at the end of this will wipe clean a lot of memories of people who didn’t pay attention much before. There will also be new outrages, mostly manufactured, to distract attention. Elections are generally about the future – what people promise to do, not a reward or punishment for what they’ve done. Hopefully, this time will be different.

Second, they have accomplices in the media willing to lie for them. Since most people simply consume news the way an ant consumes a discarded candy bar, they have no idea they’re being lied to or only told part of the story. That a Rachel Maddow or Margaret Sullivan are demanding networks stop carrying President Trump’s daily Coronavirus Task Force’s briefings won’t register will the public because most of the public has no idea who those people are. And if the briefings disappear, the assumption will be they’ve stopped. They won’t know how progressive activists with press credentials pressured them to aid the Democratic Party, killing the dissemination of information because it made the President look too good, too in command.
Third, the damage done to the economy will be blamed on the President. With millions of jobs hanging in the balance, Democrats are looking at numbers, future numbers, not people or lives ruined. If a million people come out of this not only without a job, but without companies able to employ them, it’s a win for Democrats. That’s the trick Democrats are trying to pull by blocking money for businesses – make people whole with checks to individuals, but leave their companies on the hook. What good is it to help people pay their obligations if, at the end of this, their jobs no longer exist because their employer went under? Democrats don’t care; these people will be dependent on government, and that helps the left. It’s sick, really.
It’s much easier to play Russian Roulette when the gun is pressed up against someone else’s temple.
You’d think there would be a revolt, that enough Democrats, or at least some, would stand up to Pelosi and Schumer. You’d be wrong. They are in unison; they are one – a hive mind.
Even Joe Biden, after a week in hiding, has reemerged to play Monday morning quarterback, announcing a “daily briefing” to second-guess everything the government is doing. He’s play-acting President like a 5-year-old would, with roughly the same ability to read a teleprompter and same level of understanding. The same people – media and surrogates – who lambasted Mitt Romney in 2012 for commenting on the Benghazi attack before Barack Obama, who took his sweet time, bothered to, will cheer each robotic installment of puppet Biden reading staff-prepared remarks from his home. “We only have one President at a time” will turn into “Joe is so presidential!” because they are truly bad people.
Democrats telegraphed this sucker punch when, last week, Democratic House Majority Whip James Clyburn (SC) privately told his members that the third coronavirus bill was “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.” Agenda Über Alles (written in German because it’s appropriate).
When presented with a choice to help the American people, Democrats prioritized THEIR people over all people, their agenda over the good of nation; they drew a line in the sand to give money to their donors, to push unrelated agenda items that will excite their base, and tell everyone else they can go to hell. No, they can. They deserve to, because they are truly bad people.
