Is Republican leadership stupid, incompetent or slap crazy?
The answer is yes.

I’d like to know who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to run eleven Republicans in Georgia’s sixth congressional district race.
Instead of a decisive victory, Republican Karen Handel is now faced with a summer runoff against Democrat Jon Ossoff.

It’s as if Republican leadership fell out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down.
When a political novice gets the most votes in a historically Republican district – there’s a big problem.
Not to mention the fact that Mr. Ossoff does not even live in the district. That makes it a mighty big problem.
“As we come into June 20 in the next two months we need every single Republican we can get – including the president – to be coalesced and united,” Handel told Fox & Friends.
Does anyone at the RNC seem terribly concerned that Republicans are having a difficult time winning in Republican districts?
Consider what happened in Kansas last week in the special election to replace former Rep. Mike Pompeo.
Republican Ron beat James Thompson, a Bernie Sanders-style Democrat, 53 percent to 46 percent. Now, that looks like a solid victory – but Republicans outnumber Democrats nearly 2-1, the Kansas City Star reports.
And it’s worth pointing out that Pompeo won re-election last November by 31 percentage points.
Clearly, something is troubling Republican voters—but I don’t believe it’s President Trump or his agenda.
I suspect the blame can be placed squarely on the shoulders of a do-nothing Republican Congress. Their failure to repeal Obamacare could have soured many conservatives – not to mention the attacks on Freedom Caucus members.
But there’s also the issue of voter apathy. I warned you this could happen in my new book - The Deplorables' Guide to Making America Great Again.
Republicans always take a sabbatical after they win the White House. After President Reagan brought morning to American, conservatives went into hibernation and when they woke up – there was a community organizer occupying the White House.
It’s time for voters to wake up and it’s time for Republican leadership to wise up. If they don’t, President Trump will be dealing with Speaker Pelosi after the midterms.
