I doubt I'm the only one who noticed.  It seems that the guys who are supposed to be in charge of "intelligence" are the same ones having the most difficulty with the simplest things.

Neither the "smartest guy in every room" – President Barack Obama – nor the National Intelligence Director, nor the head of the Central Intelligence Agency (the only two agencies with "Intelligence" in their name) have any idea who removed the CIA's original and immediate assessment that Benghazi was indeed a terrorist attack. 

Or, maybe it's a case of somebody playing the rest of us for a bunch of fools?

Nearly ten weeks after the assassination of four Americans, we're still playing a beltway version of he-said, she-said.

The White House Saturday refuted testimony by former CIA Director David Petraeus to Congress, saying the administration didn’t make changes in its early talking points about the attack of the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, to downplay the role of terrorists.
