What is in the water in Maine? The idyllic state known for beautiful scenery and delicious seafood has some very crazy politics, too. In Portland, the Democratic Socialists have created a "rent board" with a 28-page application that landlords must fill out if they want to raise rent between tenants.

This will end well.

The board can deny the rent increase, of course.

"So if your longtime tenant leaves, and you’d been holding rent low because they were a great tenant, you now have to fill out a 28-page interrogation document and go before a Kafkaesque panel of pansexual trustafarian retards and explain to them how rent increases are necessary to fund upkeep," Robinson wrote. "Regardless of your reasoning or requested increase, they can block it. They’ve effectively seized control of housing in Portland, and when everything turns to s**t they will blame the evil capitalist pigs."

Of course they will.

The destruction is the point.

They will be none of those things.

Solidarity looks a lot like socialists ruining everything and ruling over the ashes.
