Today First Lady Michelle Obama begins a campaign to fight the food industry and members of Congress who are attempting to fight her healthy lunch standards in schools set in 2010. School officials complain that children do not eat the healthy food and that it is too expensive to maintain. The School Nutrition Association said: "The White House needs to hear from the majority of school cafeteria professionals who are struggling to make these standards work." Obama meets today with school officials and health nutrition experts to begin her fight to keep the standards in place.
