RNC Condemns Obama's 'Dolce Vita'

Amidst rising historical deficits, stagnant employment figures and the largest expansion of government authority in recent memory, the RNC seems to think we conservative voters care about President Obama's "glitzy fundraisers, posh vacations, and celebrity concerts."  Apparently Americans should not support the president or his party this November because he's living "la dolce vita."

Obviously Obama has a serious disconnect to what matters most to voters in this country--this is evident to anyone who is remotely paying attention these days.  But why are we dedicating actual research personnel and resources to looking up which celebrities he's invited to parties over the last 16 months and what restaurants he's eaten at?

Seriously RNC--No one will take you seriously if you don't take your job seriously.  Do you really think people are going to step into the voting booth in November and think, "Well, I could vote for the Democrat incumbent, but Obama has played 41 rounds of golf so far..."?

Let the blogosphere weed out useless (yet somewhat telling) details like that.  How about the party apparatus focus on providing real, commonsense conservative alternatives to Obama's liberal tax & spend mentality?

Because frankly, at the end of the day, I don't care if our policymakers in Washington "wear Prada," as you joke.  I care that they do their job and do it well, adhering to the Constitution and protecting American interests--simplistic ideas that have clearly been lost on this administration and the Democratic leadership in Congress.
