Live in Chicagoland Tonight...

Greetings from Barack Obama's adoptive home city: Chicago, IL -- Where the politics are corrupt, taxes are sky high, and the budget is a complete mess.  The College Republicans of Northwestern University (my alma mater) have invited Townhall alum Mary Katharine Ham -- now of Fox News fame and the Daily Caller -- and me to campus as their spring speakers.  Our greater Chicago readers of all political stripes are welcome to attend the event, which is free and open to the public.  Here are the details, via our gracious hosts:

Who: Guy Benson and Mary Katharine Ham

What: Election 2012 - What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Where: Northwestern University's Norris Center, Big Ten Room - Evanston, IL

When: 7pm CT

Why: Guy and Mary Katharine will offer a fun, fast-paced, and irreverent preview of the 2012 election cycle.

I'd hasten to add that there will be free refreshments, which might make the trip more palatable for our left-leaning readers.  The program and subject matter should lend itself to enjoyable and significant audience interaction.  I would love to meet some of you, so if you decide to swing by tonight, please be sure to say hello afterwards!

UPDATE - As teased below, I appeared on Fox & Friends this morning to discuss the emerging GOP field.  Video of the interaction is below.  Take special note of liberal talk host Mark Levine's distortions of the Ryan plan and his cheap (and inaccurate) shot at Tim Pawlenty's alleged role in the Twin Cities bridge collapse:

UPDATE II - I see my colleague Greg kindly posted this video earlier.  Apologies for the duplication.
