Meet Alvin Greene, Candidate for the U.S. Senate

On Tuesday, Democrats in South Carolina elected Alvin Greene, a man currently facing felony charges for showing pornographic images to a college student.  Since his unlikely victory Tuesday, the Democratic establishment has been pleading for him to pull out of the race--a race he claims to have funded with $10,000 of his own money, despite reportedly being out of work and receiving unemployment assistance. 

Greene has refused to pull out of the race, while Democrats like Rep. James Clyburn suggest he was "someone's plant" in the race and are demanding a federal investigation.  (Yeah, it must've been the Republicans... because Democrats never do anything stupid.) 

Greene plans to face the incumbent, Republican Sen. Jim DeMint, in November.  In the meantime, he's making the rounds on the media circuit, giving an *interesting* interview with Fox News' Shep Smith earlier today, and tonight, recording this segment (warning: it's painfully awkward to watch) with MSNBC's Keith Olbermann:
