Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz acknowledged today under oath during Congressional testimony that Attorney General Eric Holder's stonewalling on turning over more than 74,000 Fast and Furious documents has been unnecessary. Horowitz said the documents he and his staff reviewed during the internal DOJ investigation of Fast and Furious, would also be relevant for Congress to review. Based on Horowitz's statement below, President Obama's assertion of executive privilege surrounding Operation Fast and Furious documents after February 4, 2011 is also unnecessary and unfounded.
