Prior to McCain's coming on stage, former Majority Leader Dick Armey said:
"The speaker who follows me will most likely be the President of the United States." - the crowd errupted.
Armey then said Ann Coulter's comments that Hillary would be better than McCain was "one of the dumbest things" he's ever seen.
