Cochise County Sheriff: Refusal to Secure Border Purely Political

Arizona Cochise Country Sheriff Larry Dever was in Washington D.C. recently testifying for the tenth time on Capitol Hill about the issue of Border Security. As he points out in our conversation, local law enforcement agents are receiving mixed signals from the Obama Administration as the Department of Homeland Security claims they want to work with local law enforcement while the Justice Department files lawsuits against their efforts to secure the border and get the illegal immigration problem under control.

Dever is part of bordersheriffs.com, a website set up to help border sheriffs pay legal fees mounting from continuous lawsuits from the ACLU and the Obama Administration.
