This is either a bizarre ploy to bolster MSNBC’s dreadful ratings or Lawrence O’Donnell is seriously unhinged:

Wait. Did MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell just seriously challenge Mitt Romney’s oldest son, Tagg, to a fist fight on national television? Why yes, I believe he did. Remember, too, when Governor Romney’s son said he wanted to “take a swing” at the president of the United States earlier this week, he was obviously kidding. But that doesn’t matter, of course. Sporting an unusually thick Boston accent and invoking his blue-collar roots, O’Donnell asserted he would rumble with Romney’s son “anytime, anywhere.” Wow. Instead of using his time slot to discuss issues that actually matter to voters, for some inexplicable reason Team O’Donnell decided it was a good idea to devote an entire segment to matters of trivial importance. No wonder the public at large -- and especially millenials -- are growing increasingly cynical and disinterested in politics. After all, we’re now living in an age when it’s entirely acceptable for grown men (i.e., high-profile and celebrated “journalists”) to challenge sons of presidential candidates to fist fights on national television. Good grief.
